Position: Penetration Engineer
Location: Washington, District of Columbia, United States

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Secret clearance is required and must be clearable to TS/SCI.
Conducts vulnerability assessments/penetration tests of information systems. Responsible for determining if Department systems and networks are vulnerable to unauthorized access, either internally or externally; Determine if systems and networks are configured and maintained in accordance with directives; and Determine if systems and networks have been patched in accordance with directives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
BS degree is preferred. 5-8 years of relevant experience. Provides expert knowledge in network vulnerability testing/penetration techniques; Tool development for computer and network forensics and vulnerability testing.
Knowledge and understanding of network design and maintenance, fault isolation, performance monitoring, configuration management standards, principles and techniques is desired.
