Nmap Development: Nmap + Nmapwin Problem

Hey

i was just wondering if i could get some support from you.
Recently i have reinstalled windows, and wanted to run nmap across my network + firewall n few other things.
but i have run into a problem

when i use cmd prompt, and do any sort of nmap scan, nmap -O 192.168.0.2 etc
or any other flags
i get this problem

nmap.exe - Application Error

The instruction at "0x00000000" refreneced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read".

Click OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program

I've never had this problem before, i also get the same problem with the NmapWin Gui version when i do any sort of scan

im running Windows 2000 sp4
xp1600
256mb ram
