hi

you are thinking of SOAP (simple object access protocol) which is XML over
HTTP
microsoft is part of the group working on SOAP (along with developmentor
and others)

.net is based around a common language run time

i don't know what webex is but thought i'd clear this up..

Isn't this the same technology that is being proposed by Microsoft with the
'.Net' initiative - XML through port 80/HTTP? The motivation was to be
able to get messages through firewalls [and hence circumvent security - the
added comment is mine]?
