Just to give this subject some closure, I upgraded to 3.4 last night, and
the postgres driver is included

msf > version
Framework: 3.4.0-dev.9197
Console  : 3.4.0-dev.9280

msf > db_driver
[*]    Active Driver: postgresql
[*]        Available: sqlite3, mysql, postgresql

So everything is working fine now with the database.

You can try the pure-ruby driver and see if it works for you:

$ gem install postgres-pr

Otherwise, you will need to sort out your build environment issues under
Cygwin or wait for the 3.4.0 installer, which will hopefully have the
native pg driver included.

Hi everyone, I’m trying to get the postgres driver working in metasploit

returns the following error:

[*] exec: gem install postgres
