Nmap Development: nmap+V

Hi,

I thought I should drop a quick note that I applied Saurik's
"versioning" modifications (nmap+V) to the latest beta, available at:
http://dev.whitehats.com/tools/netmap/nmap-2.54BETA3+V.tgz

I made very few changes and still have trouble getting SMTP banner
information for some reason (?!), but it may just be a quirk of my test
platform.

I think the protocol poking/banner grabbing code is incredibly useful so
I would be interested to hear of any similar work out there...
