This is kinda rough, but it works.. 

I put it up at http://f00bar.com/nmap/  with example sgml and html output.. 

FYI FWIW: nmap-web (see URL below) is a web interface to nmap.
While it doesn't supply all the options to nmap, it allows one
to select a range of hosts/IP's, specify some types of scans, 
and optionally query the port to try to determine what software
is actually running there. All this is done from a point-n-click
interface ... so still another way to obtain nmap HTML'ized (type)
output would be to use nmap-web and then simply save the 
underlying frame source code!   ;-)
