Thanks for the help. Ya, the cli built correctly, and
functions.
For other users, I've never really used X or any
graphics oriented apps, so anything gui oriented may
be missing some libraries.
I started installing all the dependencies of gtk2 from
ports or source, and ran into some problems during the
make install of a couple of them, but the important
thing is that the cli version of nmap does build and
install correctly.
