Nmap Development: Kerberos not picked up

Kerberos not picked up

From: Chris Chandler <chandlerchrisc_at_earthlink.net>

I was doing a scan on a friend of mine's network and using Nmap, several
things did dhow up in whatever state they were in all except for 2
ports, both TCP and UDP ports 748 and 749, Kerberos administration.

Is there some reason Nmap doesn't pick this up? Netscan Pro Tools picked
up these 2 ports running TCP/UDP SEQ Scans.

This was the same using Nmap 3.00 compiled in Windows and for Linux as
well.
