Nmap2.99RC2 quick test
From: Fyodor <fyodor () insecure org>
Date: Sat, 27 Jul 2002 20:40:52 -0700

Hey Guys,

I just released Nmap 2.99RC2 at
http://www.insecure.org/nmap/nmap_download.html . As long as there
are no showstopper bugs, I'll release this as Nmap 3 very shortly
(maybe tomorrow). If you have time, please give it a whirl and let me
know if you encounter any problems. The biggest change is that I went
through and changed dozens of memory initialization calls to fix a bug
found by Pieter ten Pierick and to reduce the chance of similar bugs
in the future. There are a few minor tweaks too.

Cheers,
-F
