Hi,

I have Gtk+ (or most of it) installed. Specifically which parts of Gtk+ does nmap
look for? This would be most appreciated.

Probably you need only some LDFLAGS pointing to your gtk-directory like
LDFLAGS='-L/usr/local/lib -R/usr/local/lib', depends on your OS and your
compiler-settings.
