trouble compiling 3.25 on Solaris 9
From: <jaye_gettes () hushmail com>

I can't even get past configure on solaris 8 or 9 with preinstalled gcc
3.2.2 and nmap 3.25. The error is configure is:

configure:1481: checking whether the C++ compiler works
configure:1487: ./a.out
ld.so.1: ./a.out: fatal: libstdc++.so.5: open failed: No such file or
directory
./configure: line 1: 3159 Killed ./$ac_file

but my LDFLAGS is set to -L/usr/local/lib and libstdc++.so.5 is soft
linked to libstdc++.so.5.0.2, which is there and readable by root, which
is what I'm compiling as.

what am I doing wrong? thanks in advance
