Or you could use 'crle' to permanently add /usr/local/lib to your library
search path, similar to the way /etc/ld.so.conf works under Linux.  That
way you don't have to hassle with -L flags, -R flags, LD_LIBRARY_PATH
(which you shouldn't use in the first place) or LD_RUN_PATH.
