Nmap Development: Nmap 3.45 service fingerprints

I'm pretty excited about the -sV option being added to the nmap core.

I've already submitted several service fingerprints. I look forward to
this option becoming more and more comprehensive as users contribute
to the database.

In the past we've had to wait for a new version release to get an
update of fingerprints. Is there plans to ever have the service and OS
fingerprint updates on a separate schedule than the nmap core?
