Is there anyone here that has been able to compile NmapFE on Mac OS X? I've downloaded and compiled all the necessary files to compile GTK+ 1.2.6 via Fink. i download the current version of Nmap from the website, and it compiles correctly, with the configure prefix = /sw, where GTK is. When I try to run xnmap, or nmapfe, i get the error "Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: ". I cant figure anything out. Could someone help me? Thanks

Do you have a copy of X11 running, and entered "setenv DISPLAY" in your terminal window before running 'nmapfe'? No? Ain't gonna work. Download Apple's package for the X11 server, and you'll have much better luck. http://www.apple.com/macosx/x11/download/
