Do you still see this with Alpha7?  Are you doing any other wierd
packet stuff on the same machine during the Nmap run? (such as other
Nmap runs, hping2, traceroute, etc.)?  Can you try with
--packet_trace?  Maybe that will shed light on what is triggering the
debug messages.  Of course, these will only occur when you have
debugging on (-d).
