According to Fydor nmap 3.8 and 3.81 need winpcap 3.1Beta4 or newer

Hello,
i'm running windows 2000 sp4 and nmap3.81 with winpcap 3.04beta and i
get the following error message when trying to run a scan:
C:\Program Files\nmap3.81>nmap -d 173.139.93.1
***WinIP*** winpcap present, dynamic linked to: WinPcap version 3.1
beta4 (pack et.dll version 3, 1, 0, 24), based on libpcap version
0.8.3
*** ^^^^ 3.1beta4 ^^^^ ***
Starting nmap 3.81 ( http://www.insecure.org/nmap ) at 2005-02-18
12:40 Central Standard Time
SIO_ROUTING_INTERFACE_QUERY(173.139.93.1) failed (10014)
I believe this is the equivalence of "No route to host".
any suggestions?
Make sure you have a default route on your card, and be aware that nmap
only works with ethnernet connections (as opposed to dialup, which is
usually ppp or slip).
thanks!
