Probably you are right. I just want to point the fact that we are 
working with the ifr structure. But is true that at this point of the 
program, both buf and ifr are pointing to the same address.

+    for(; ifr && *((u8 *)ifr) && ((u8 *)ifr) < ((u8 *)buf) + ifc.ifc_len; 

instead.
