Parallelize OS Fingerprinting?
From: "Brandon Enright" <bmenrigh () ucsd edu>

With all of the changes going into the OS fingerprinting and the likelihood of
tests being added I'd really like to see work done to make fingerprinting
between multiple machines parallelized.

I often scan ~500 hosts on a dozen or so ports with -O. Fingerprinting takes up
99% of the time because it is sequential.

There's probably a good technical reason why parallelization can't be done
easily but none comes to mind right away.

Thoughts?

Brandon
