Nmap Development: Problem with excludefile option

Problem with excludefile option

From: Juan Perez <jperez12_at_ureach.com>
Date: Wed, 5 Oct 2005 16:27:40 -0400

I am testing an exclude file that contains multiple entries.
They all are nmap ready.

For some reason, nmap 3.93 on linux chokes on some entries, even
though they are correctly formatted.

The entries are

10.10.15-19.0-255

Using nmap -v -v with the other switches does not work for
debugging.
I found that using nmap -sL -iL excludefile help identify the
problem, yet no problem should be there. When I take this line
and put it aside on its own file, it works fine.

Any suggestions on how to further debug the issue?

Thanks,

Juan
