nmap win problems

Hi,
I have tried to install nmap on a Windows XP+SP2
machine. I used nmap 3.93-win32 with winpcap 3.1. The
error message I got is below.
Starting nmap 3.93 ( http://www.insecure.org/nmap ) at
2005-10-11 10:38 Eastern Daylight Time
dnet: Failed to open device eth0
QUITTING!

Could you tell me what does this mean? It seems that
winpcap might be working properly.
