Hi All,

I am running the command "nmap -O -oX test.xml <IP addresses>" ,it is not giving the MAC address and Mac vendor
deatils.
Some times it is providing the MAC details & some times it is not providing.
Can you please tell me if there is any other option to finding out the MAC details.

MAC address scanning only works over layer 2 networks. As soon as the
packets pass a router it can no longer be determined. I haven't looked
at that particular piece of code, but I suspect nmap detects this and
doesn't print the MAC-address for routed packets.
