I have complied Nmap4.01 successfully.
But i'm hit with another error
Starting Nmap 4.01 ( http://www.insecure.org/nmap/ ) at 2006-03-21 05:55 SGT
Warning: File ./nmap-services exists, but Nmap is using
/usr/local/share/nmap/nmap-services for security and consistency reasons.
set NMAPDIR=. to give priority to files in your local directory (may affect
the other data files too).
Unable to determine any DNS servers. Try using --system-dns or specify valid
servers with --dns_servers
My setup is simple. No DNS servers here. Just 2 boxes connected by a cross
cable. Have tested connectivity ok.
I'm not very familiar with linux, just a security consultant wanting to work
on NMAP on linux.
Can you give me some advice on the error mesg?
Thank you once again.
