Nmap Development: soc 2006 - Scripting Module

Hi,

I'm a french student and I would like help in development of nmap with the
scripting module. So I've searched on the mailing list any thread about the
structure of nmap, without success. Anyone has seen it, or could describe in
many lines how is organized the implementation of the program, especially
the main functions. I would like to be prepared before jump in this pool of
source code ;-)
