Hello list,
I would like to thank everyone who took the time and had a look at
the new nmap scripting system.
Here comes the new and improved release candidate 2 of Nmap-NSE.
New features include:

* an nmap registry for inter script communication
* NSE scripts can correct the opened/closed state of ports if necessairy
* the script output has been rewritten
* NSE now supports -O2 operation system detection
* with the new settimeout() method you can set your own socket
timeouts for NSE connections
* Nmap-NSE now comes in the form of windows binaries and a windows
self installer additionally
to the unix source tar balls

and more

You can find RC2 here:
unix sources:
http://xover.htu.tuwien.ac.at/~diman/nmap/nmap-4.20ALPHA4-NSE.tgz

Diman
