I've been trying to get nmap 4.20 ALPHA11 working on my Intel Mac,
running OS X 10.4.8. It compiles fine but it doesn't get any replies
from the network. It sends out the arp request to get things started
and never gets a reply. I'm running the scan as root. I tried
building 4.11 on the Mac and found that it works fine. I tried
building 4.20 using both the pcre, pcap, and dnet from fink as well
as the ones that come with nmap. Any ideas on what to try next?
Thanks,
Beirne
