Nmap Development: Re: I use ppp over ethernet

  Most attachments get stripped on the nmap-dev mailing list. Couldn't
find the D-Link GLB-502T on the D-link site and it is a shame that it
only has one ethernet port and I don't know about an all-in-one DSL
Modem/Ethernet Router.  You have a DSL Modem already, so I would just
get a more general purpose router that supports PPPoE.  I don't think
the D-Link GLB-502T is what you want.

I think the most common setup is DSL Modem -> generic router
supporting PPPoE.  A network looks like this:

I think you want something simple like a D-Link Ethernet Broadband
Router (EBR-2310) http://www.dlink.com/products/?sec=0&pid=478 or a
Linksys EtherFast(r) Cable/DSL Router with 4-Port Switch (BEFSR41)
http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_Product_C2&childpagename=US%2FLayout&cid=1122062340941&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper

Both are fairly common, fairly simple, and fairly cheap.
