Does this work on a switched LAN?

It compiles and runs fine on OSX, except I only get:
|_ Promiscuous detection: Unknown (tests: "________")
for all scanned hosts (a Belkin router, a WinXP machine and an OSX
machine). I am not sure if this is an error condition or if it is a
correct result.
