SecLists.Org censorship attempts status
From: Fyodor <fyodor () insecure org>

You guys may recall the FTPPro folks threatening to sue me unless I
removed a 7-year old Bugtraq posting of them threatening someone
else[1]. They weren't at all happy about me forwarding their message
here, and then sent me a flurry of emails and voice messages for a day
or two, but I ignored them and they eventually gave up.

But just when I thought it was over, I have this different guy
(message below) emailing me, my ISP, and my ISP's backbone provider
threatening to "notify the FBI" unless I immediately remove a
thumbnail-sized image posted to the full-disclosure security list.
Apparently in his warped fantasies, the hairy guy in the picture is a
minor. Ironically, this is the sort of crap posting that I normally
do remove when people notify me politely, rather than threatening to
call in the FBI! Actually the "notification" I get is usually a
bandwidth spike caused by people looking for "furry porn" that some
twit likes posting to full-disclosure.

Ah, the joys of running a public mailing list archive :).

There is presently a picture of a minor's erect penis on your server.

If this is not removed with 12 hours, I'll have to notify the FBI...
