Nmap 4.21ALPHA4 make Error

Hi all
I get the error
make: *** [nse_pcrelib.o] Error 1

when I try to compile Nmap 4.21ALPHA4.

My guesses are that the PCRE library is not being compiled properly.
Please suggest.
