My idea behind "Nmap this", was that an Nmap console or Zenmap GUI
console pops up after a user has right clicked a link or a URL in a
browser. Nmap would then automatically strip off "http://"; and any
suffix folders that the webserver has and perform an Nmap scan. Using
the Google homepage here is an example image that displays what I

Great idea!

A variation for those who try to minimize the number of
plugins/extensions added to FF (and for those using Opera) - a variation
might be a tray-icon that could be "pasted" with that http address (or
ftp address, or .....).

So the browser user would right click, copy the page address, then
center-click the tray icon to fire up nmap.
