Can you try the latest release and see if it still complains about the
wrong architecture?

It does. :-( I even tried manually deleting the old version, in case
there were residual files or anything, and that didn't fix it. A fresh
install still complains about the architecture.
I had access to a PowerPC Mac for a few hours yesterday and I didn't get
that error message or the circle-with-slash icon over the Zenmap icon.
But that was with 10.4. Maybe 10.5 is different.
I am running 10.5, so I can only assume they put in more rigorous
(silly?) checks to make sure your python script is PPC-friendly. Is
there anything else I should try?
