Mac OSX Problems

I compiled nmap fine on my 10.5.5 box, but whenever I used it I get the following: 

Warning: Unable to open interface vmnet8 -- skipping it.
Warning: Unable to open interface vmnet1 -- skipping it.
nexthost: failed to determine route to 192.168.1.1
QUITTING!
I'm not sure what's going on. I'm using Airport (en1 I think), and it's all hooked up.... 

Any help would be great. If you need more information, just ask.
