[PATCH] fix out-of-tree building
From: Mike Frysinger <vapier () gentoo org>
Date: Tue, 26 May 2009 21:51:48 -0400

This attempts to fix the out-of-tree building such as:
mkdir build && cd build
../configure && make

Many of these changes are patently correct while others might incur some
debate as to how to address them (like the nbase/ncat subdirs).
