Today I finally had a chance to look into this. Your patch didn't work
well when the TTL wrapped back to the initial value (when --count is
high enough), so I re-implemented the functionality. Please try revision
23178 and let me know if it doesn't work as you expected.
Thanks for taking the time to look into it. I tried the new revision
with your patch and the functionality works exactly as I expected.
