Using r31738, can you try to run the tests as: `NCAT=../../ncat/ncat
./run_tests.sh' ? I'm wondering if maybe you had a version of ncat
installed which was incompatible with how the tests use it...
It seems to be rather the use of "localhost". If I remove that from the
ncat lines, everything is OK as expected.
On my Debian 7, "ncat -l localhost" listens on [::1]:31337, and not on
IPv4. I think the tests are trying to connect to 127.0.0.1. If you are
connecting to the IPv4 address, then you should use the same address in
the Ncat listen commands.
