110 open tcp pop-3
113 open tcp auth

As you can see, it recognizes all services except ssh (port 22). I can't
quite see the reason for this?

Edit your /etc/services
It would be pretty silly to say what is actually running on the port sine
I can put fingerd on 22 and sshd on 139.
