Thanks a million for all the good promisc info, the nice source code and
the pointers to the related sites. You've given me what I need to know in
order to deal with my situation. I greatly appreciate the responses, I've
learned a lot.

On an unrelated point, do you guys get these when you post? I think he
wants off the list ....
