Anyone know of a good tool/method/procedure for locating promiscuous NICs?

There is a tool for locating Linux-boxes with a promiscuous NIC. It
requires ARP to be enabled on the box to be scanned, but that's not a
problem since it's very rare that someone disables arp on their
ethernet-interface.

The tool is available from rootshell (98/September), neped.c.
