I should clarify:

"Merge all the information into a nice neat file to be mailed."

What I meant is that a script would do all the work to gather the
information then I could manually review it and mail if I saw the need.

        Many of the IDS "experts"  frown on automated responses and
return fire. 
        Do you really want "them"  to know that you're watching them.
