Ran the BETA19 nmap a few weeks ago (a day or 2 after it was released?) and
had some of our administrators report that a few Macintosh computers had
crashed. One of them did some investigations and believes the issue is
with the Retrospect backup client running on the Mac's. It looks to him
like Retrospect goes into some kind of frozen state after being scanned and
that kills the MAC.
The command used was:
nmap -sT --randomize_hosts -oM logfile -F -O X.X.*.*
I dont have any more info than what I reported. Just thought I'd pass it along.
