I finally had a chance to install decent banner rotation software on
Insecure.Org so that I can change ad banners without resorting to vi on
the html file :).
The upshots are that you may start seeing more interesting ads than the
static Nmap banners that used to be on all the pages.
If you have an Nmap related project, I would be happy to run your ad
banners for free. Just send me a 468x60 image file (PNG, JPG, or GIF are
fine) as well as the URL to linke to and I'll put it up. Static
(non-animated) banners are preferred. I will also list your project in
the "Nmap related projects" section of the Nmap page.
In addition, we will accept some sponsored banners from companies offering
cool products/services which security minded folks might be interested in.
Real-time reporting is available for tracking the effectiveness of your
campaigns. Not only is this an excellent promotional value, but you will
also have the warm fuzzy feeling of helping to secure the continued
availability of Insecure.org. Drop me a line if you have questions or
