Nmap Hackers: Analysis of Remote Active Operating System Fingerprinting Tools

I wanted to let everyone know that I've released a paper entitled
"Analysis of Remote Active Operating System Fingerprinting Tools."  It
is available at http://www.packetwatch.net/papers.php. The paper
provides an in-depth analysis of three remote active operating system
fingerprinting tools including Nmap. The purpose of the paper is to show
how the tools work, and to understand the advantages and disadvantages
they each offer.
