I think this is something we could already apply for any new NVT
and also apply a patch for 2013/* so that we have a consistent start.
What do NVT developers here think? Anything speaks against this?
* Solution/Fix: These contain information about the issue. After some
discussion, we have come to think of using script_tag() with a suitable
tag name.
As an example:
Solution:
An update is available. Please see the references for more
information.
would become something like:
script_tag(name:"solution", value:"An update is available. Please see
the references for more information.");
Any issues with this ? Ideas on how this could be further improved ?
Feedback is welcome.
I think "Solution" is a pretty good tag and as Sebastien pointed out
in his email, could match all "Solution / Fix / Workaround".
Do we have a script that autoamtically can convert such text blocks into
a tag?
Best
Jan
