OpenVAS: Fwd: SVN 13769 on OpenVAS

Greetings!

1.  How can I patch or work around the issue with OpenVAS 5 on Ubuntu 12.10
with greeenbone hanging referred to in SVN 13769?
2.  As in the forwarded message, who do I ask to update the OpenVAS package
for Ubuntu?

Paul,

If you are not a programmer and do not want to build everything yourself
from scratch, I would recommend reporting the bug to the maintainer of
the package, point them to the fix in question and ask them to update
the package.

Since neither me nor Greenbone Networks GmbH maintain the packages in
question, I'm not able to help further.
