Just curious, why is that not something () cert fi? Why does CERT-FI not
run it's own email, instead using @ficora.fi?

Long story short: historical reasons. Our host organisation (FICORA,
Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority, something like the FCC in
the US) provides some basic services for us. We may switch to using
cert.fi also in email at some point.
