Re: RFID: What to get?

I've had very good luck with the ProxMark III device. This is the
primary device I use when reversing, cloning or attacking the cards used
by access control systems. It covers both 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz so can
communicate with just about any RFID chip commonly used in access
control systems.

When I selected a device RFIdiot was a close second. At the time I had
an immediate need for a device that could clone HID Prox cards. I
confirmed the ProxMark III could do this which is why I went that route.
Although I think you can clone HID Prox cards with the right hardware
and RFIdiot.

Cheers,
Matt

I'm going to hit a few shacks this weekend to try and dig one of these
guys up. How are you folks implementing the hardware? Is there an
easy way to hook it right to a pc for lab bench stuff before putting
it in to something nicer?
