a lot is said about the _actual_ security of WEP
and nothing is said about the legal security of
it.
IMHO, the primary thing that can be said in the
defense of WEP is that it forces somebody to commit
a crime in accessing your data or network.
using WEP is not useless but does not protect your
data.
