lotus notes internet password bruteforce?

Greetings fellow pen-testers,

Does anyone know if the Lotus Notes "Internet Password" allows bruteforce attacks over the network?

Trying to understand if lockouts are enforced by default.

I'd appreciate any other background references for the lotus notes internet password as well.
