Is any one aware of the existence of ruby-gtk & ruby-libglade precompiled
binaries for slackware available for dependencies of ruby-gnome stuff?
I tried compiling from source tar balls, the compilation seems to be caught in
a lot of dependency issue related to glib2.
For some reason, a lot of the GNOME libraries are missing the ".so"
symlinks in Backtrack 2. The ".so.*" files are there, but the linker
needs the .so files. If you are having trouble linking but ./configure
works OK, you might want to figure out what libraries aren't linking
properly and add the symlinks yourself.
