You may be able to use a modified rdesktop to brute-force RDP. If it's
successful or not often depends on the version of Windows and whether
the target has any logon banners.

IMNSHO, RDP is horrible for brute-force password attacks. If SMB is
available, that's a much quicker and more reliable route.
